Thermometers
Determine the mercury level in every thermometer. Mercury fills continuously from the round bulb toward the open end and cannot leave gaps. Numbers outside the grid show exactly how many cells contain mercury in each row and column. Red cells are given filled, hatched cells are given empty, and plain grey cells are unknown.

Goal: Determine how much mercury is contained in every thermometer. Rules: - Mercury fills each thermometer continuously from its round bulb toward its open end. - A thermometer may be completely empty, partially filled, or completely full. - Mercury cannot float above an empty section or leave gaps inside a thermometer. - Numbers outside the grid show exactly how many filled cells appear in each row and column. - Red cells are given filled and hatched cells are given empty. A partially given thermometer has a fixed red fill level and a hatched empty remainder; its fill cannot be extended. - A hatched thermometer marked 0 is given completely empty. - Plain grey cells without hatching are unknown, not given empty. - Use all thermometer shapes and the row and column counts to determine the unique solution.
