The Reef

Shade cells to form one connected reef with no completely shaded 2×2 area. Each clue describes the lengths of separate consecutive shaded groups around it; different groups must be separated by at least one unshaded cell.

Complete rules

Goal: Shade cells to create the reef described by the clues. Rules: - All shaded cells must form one orthogonally connected area. - No 2×2 group of cells may be completely shaded. - The numbers in a clue give the lengths of the separate consecutive shaded groups surrounding that clue. - Separate shaded groups around a clue must have at least one unshaded cell between them. - Clue cells themselves remain unshaded.
